As you may know, Illinois Governor, J. B. Pritzker held a COVID-19 press conference today where he issued new rules regarding indoor masking, educational employee vaccination and testing requirements

Back to School Status Update

Thank you for your continued support of our students’ education throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. ECHO has always been focused on returning to in-person learning when it was safe and when we were able to do so.

COVID-19 Vaccine for 12-year-old or older

We are happy to announce that Thornton Fractional High School (South Campus) has been selected as a Cook County Department of Public Health COVID-19 Educational Point of Distribution (POD) vaccination site for the Covid-19 vaccine for students 12-years old and older.

Remote Learning Extended Through Winter Break

At the October 13, 2020 Board meeting, the Executive Board of Directors voted to extend our Remote Learning Plus Plan through winter break. The continued hardships our students, families, and staff members are working through on a daily basis is unprecedented. Our first priority in the decision to remain in a remote setting through winter break is the safety of our stakeholders.
