ECHO SCHOOL

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

ECHO School serves students with a primary classification of moderate to profound Intellectual disability.  Many ECHO School students also have other disabling conditions which impact their educational needs.  ECHO School provides a variety of services to meet these wide ranging educational needs.  Program components related to needs of students with Intellectual delays and other secondary disabilities are:

·         Adapted educational methods and materials

·         Adapted skills of daily living

·         Speech/language therapy/oral motor

·         Social work

·         Physical therapy

·         Occupational therapy

·         Psychological services

·         Nursing services

·         Applied Behavior Analyst

·         Assistive technology

·         Vocational services

·         Staff knowledgeable of disabling conditions.

·         Augmentative communication support

·         Sensory integration support

SATELLITE

Program Description

The Satellite Program serves students with a primary classification of Intellectual delays.  Many Satellite students also have other conditions which impact their educational needs.  Satellite programming provides a variety of services to meet these wide ranging educational needs.  Program components related to needs of students with Intellectual delays and other secondary disabilities may include:

·         Adapted educational methods and materials

·         Daily living skills

·         Speech/Language Therapy

·         Social Work Services

·         Physical Therapy

·         Occupational Therapy

·         School Psychological Services

·         Transportation
