Dr. Hooks became the new Executive Director of ECHO July 1, 2011 after serving as an Assistant Director for ECHO. She has seven years experience with ECHO. Dr. Hooks, a veteran educator and school psychologist has over 30 years of experience in the field of education. Dr. Hooks holds a Master’s Degree from Pepperdine University in Clinical Counseling and a second Master’s Degree from Governors State University in Education Administration. She has a Doctorate in Education Leadership from National Louis University. Dr. Hooks is a workshop presenter and is published. She brings her skills and experience to her new leadership role at ECHO. Dr. Hooks believes in the potential of all students despite challenge or disability. She promotes high expectations for all students, staff, and parents.
