Nicole Terrell-Smith joined the ECHO Joint Agreement leadership team in July 2011.  She began her career in the field of education after serving for eight years in the field of corporate general accounting and hospitality.  Mrs. Terrell-Smith obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Educational Administration with a Chief School Business Officials endorsement, from Governor’s State University.   Her dedication to the education of her own children encouraged her to leave the corporate sector to enter the field of education.  She brings with her five years of experience in multiple facets of a special education cooperative, including Human Resource, Payroll, Accounts Payable and Business Operations.  Her focus to maintain and support the financial stability of ECHO is fueled by her passion to ensure all students, regardless of disability or challenge, receive a rewarding educational experience.  She believes every student is a book yet to be written and every stakeholder contributes to that story.
